Following last year’s success we are excited to join together with Chichester Family Church once again to put on the Live Nativity at Central School (details on flyer below). If you have not been before then we would really recommend this event as a fab way to have some fun as a family and get a real sense of what the birth of Jesus was like with live animals and characters from the first ever Christmas story.

There will also be craft activities and refreshments available.

Last weekend a large group of members from Revelation Church packed their bags and flew to Vienna for what was to be an unforgettable time at the 24-7 Prayer Conference. Read some of their experiences below.

“I love stories. Hearing what God is doing around the world and outside my own immediate circle is so encouraging and fuels my faith. I cried as I stood amongst 4000 people in St Stephen’s cathedral while prayers were read that looked back on all that has happened within 24-7 since we organised the first prayer room 15 years ago. What a privilege to be part of this crazy adventure!”     Helen Crosby

“Wow!! What a great weekend celebrating 15 years of 24-7 prayer in Vienna. An inspiring, challenging and emotional weekend.
I hadn’t been to a 24-7 event for nearly ten years, as soon as I walked into the evening meeting on Thursday night it felt like being home and the feeling of being surrounded by family. I knew that night being there was what I needed, afresh awakening. God woke me up!! A fresh new passion for God and prayer.
Over the weekend I spent time catching up with old friends and making new ones, sharing our stories and reminiscing about 24-7 Prayer and the good old days. One of the things that struck me over the weekend was that 24-7 prayer is part of the DNA of our church, it’s where it started!!”   Ben McIntyre

“It was great to celebrate what 24-7 Prayer has been upto the last 15 years as it is so closely linked to the DNA of Revelation Church, it was amazing to hear about what we’d be praying into at the conference being mirrored in the prophetic words shared at our evening gathering in Chichester.”    James Wright

“It was an amazing few days with the 24-7 Prayer family in the stunning setting of Vienna, Austria. Being with 750 people of all ages from 40 different countries with the same passion to see Christ lifted up high and shared in our generation was a very powerful thing alone. We worshiped in hostels, Palaces, coffee shops, bars and unforgettably in the 1000 year old Stephens Cathedral. Danielle Strickland’s session on ‘Hope’ and its ‘defiant nature’ I pray will live long within me.”    Dan Slatter

“I had no idea what to expect of a prayer conference (and knew little about 24-7) before arriving, but I learnt so much; not only about the movement, but our church and a lot about myself too. One seminar on ‘Loving the poor in our communities’ really challenged me in an unexpected way, and words from Danielle Strickland had a powerful connection with me on both times I heard her speak. The obvious highlight was Saturday night, standing in unity with 4000+ family inside the cathedral, followed by a crazy auction with people literally selling the clothes off their backs! I have made friends in Vienna, strengthened relationships and am already so excited for what the next year ahead brings.”      Cathryn Barty

Having just enjoyed being with each other at our Commitment Sunday Feast last Sunday we are really looking forward to sharing life over food again on Sunday the 15th November.

We started doing Big Lunch in November last year and have done three since then with an average of 85 people participating each time.

Big Lunch is simply about sharing lunch together in each other’s homes after our Sunday morning gathering. We ask everyone to sign up as either a host or a guest, depending on their preference, and then everyone is put into groups. We try to make these groups as diverse as possible so that we can really get to know as many people as possible in our community.  Big Lunch is a fantastic way to share life together and it’s an opportunity to build friendships with one another in a relaxed environment. For our hosts there is no pressure at all to put on a fancy three course dinner, as it is more about building community than anything else!

We would love for us all to get involved in the next Big Lunch, so please sign up! Over the next couple of weeks there will be a sign up sheet at our morning and evening gatherings. You can also email our office to let us know you’d like to come ( Just tell us if you want to be a host (and how many people you’d like to have) or a guest (and how many are in your family). Letting us know about dietary requirements is helpful too. Don’t worry if you (or your children) are fussy – we’ll find someone who can accommodate you!
