Lifecentre is a Registered Charity with a Christian foundation, providing specialist counselling services across West Sussex to survivors of sexual violation of all ages and all genders.

We are looking for an experienced counsellor accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychology (BACP) or United Kingdom Council for Psychology (UKCP) to be responsible for the delivery of Lifecentre’s clinical services. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for managing and supporting the clinical staff and supervisors. They will provide assurance to the Chief Executive on the quality of the clinical services, ensuring delivery adheres to Lifecentre’s policies and procedures and supports the best interests of our clients and mission as a charity.

The ideal candidate would have experience working with sexual trauma and complex mental health issues. We are looking for someone who has experience of leading teams of counselling practitioners including providing clinical support, reviewing performance and developing the team. They will have a track record of conducting assessments and using measurement tools such as CORE. We would like a candidate who has extensive experience and skills in building strong working relationships with partner agencies. We are looking for someone with extensive experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. They will have a consultative management style, with the ability to motivate a diverse range of staff with a coaching approach. We need someone who can exercise strong clinical judgement. They will be a committed and mature Christian who is an active part of a church community. They will have analytical thinking skills and the ability to see the bigger picture as well as being a confident communicator.

The job is 20 hours per week and is primarily based in Chichester, but attending meetings at other locations as required
