At Revelation Kids we love to grow and support one another to Love and know God more, to be community together and to be good news to the world around us.
When we get together in our RevsKids gatherings we are passionate about what God is doing and saying to us today.
We want to help each other to grow into the people that God has called us to be.
Our times together are always filled with creative expressions of prayer and worship, exploration of the Bible and a lot of fun as we get to know each other more (normally this includes food!). We are blessed to have an incredible team of volunteers who bring their own diverse gifts and talents to help us learn more about God, his purpose for us, and how we can live in a better way to share his love for those around us.
We feel that it’s really important to belong to more than just a ‘kids’ group, to learn from the example of those who are a bit older than us and to share with them how we respond to loving God.
We join our 10am gathering where we can experience being part of this worshipful community. During our time together we spend time in our own RevsKids gathering where we split into different age groups;
Learning to Love and be Loved. Our times in Spark are filled with engaging storytelling from the Bible, messy craft, creative snacks and play. We love to freeflow in our environment and we chat and play to help us remember and think about what God wants to say to us today.
Finding our feet in our faith. As we explore the Bible we want to help each other by sharing and serving. We love to have fun, playing games, responding to the Bible creatively and making some epic snacks! We think it’s important to spend time listening to what God wants to say to us today.
Growing together in God. As we learn more from the Bible and go deeper together we start to ask bigger questions and apply what God says to us in new ways. We still love to play games together, get creative and make epic snacks!
Our RevsKids life group meets on a Thursday evening at ONE-O-FOUR , 6:15 – 7:15. We love to build community, by praying for each other, playing games and gathering around a table to serve each other and eat. We connect with each other during term times.
We’re committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of kids. We operate a Safeguarding Policy working with the national umbrella organisation, CCPAS (Churches Child Protection Advisory Service). This works within Safe Guarding guidelines set by central government.
